No guide can guarantee that anyone will never be scammed. Practice can reduce risk but cannot eliminate it. Wardwell does not take over a parent’s finances or decisions, offer technical device setup, or recover lost money.

If money already moved

Contact your bank or card issuer promptly and ask about a recall. Then report to IC3.gov in the US or the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre in Canada, and contact local police. Be aware of second-wave contacts offering recovery for a fee. Recovery is not guaranteed. If anyone is in immediate danger, call emergency services.
